The Journal of Tropical Geography and Environment (GEOTROPE) is a scientific journal with an international vocation, which publishes original scientific articles and bibliographical reviews covering the various aspects of tropical geography and the environment, in French and, exceptionally, in English. Articles should be written in such a way as to be suitable for teaching purposes and/or to help students or non-specialists gather basic documentation. Short notes, corresponding to preliminary results or research in progress, and data sheets, may also be published.
GEOTROPE is aimed at researchers, lecturers and doctoral students. It is a scientific journal that publishes original, high-quality research articles. Draft articles are evaluated double-blind by members of the reading and/or scientific committee and experts according to their specialty(ies). To be published, draft articles are subject to anti-plagiarism detection. As an academic scientific journal for researchers, teacher-researchers and doctoral students, we aim to be a platform for the popularization of advanced scientific productions, and above all to facilitate academic exchanges between researchers.
